Since the election our team has been making short protest documentaries.

On January 21st I interviewed protesters at the Women's March in New York City about why they were there, how they felt about being there and what the next steps are moving forward. We are not affiliated with any news organization, we are citizen journalists trying to foster a movement.

On November 19th 2016, Majority Leader Jimmy Van Bramer lead a march from Dutch Kills Green in Long Island City across Queensboro Bridge to Trump Tower. He was joined by Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, City Comptroller Scott Stringer and hundreds of Queens residents. Councilman Van Bramer received death threats from for promoting the protest.

This weekend we decided to interview protesters at the Not My President demonstration. The protest, which was organized by Black Matters US, congregated at Union Square and made its way up 5th Avenue to Trump Tower. I was particularly interested in what the protesters believed a march of this nature could achieve, and I asked them about their hopes and goals.
